Antennas and switches
Creating antenna assemblies and antenna-feeder path components, making it possible to meet the most exacting requirements to the modern communication systems in the wide frequency range from MF to UHF is the long-term field of scientific-technical activity of JSC “ONIIP”.
Antenna-feeder systems, amplifiers and switches are the own products of JSC “ONIIP” and they are created depending on the service conditions, placement location and specific customer requirements, which allows to design the systems with the maximum-effective communication.
The specialists of JSC “ONIIP” calculate the characteristics of antenna devices using the specialized software. At the own testing area they measure the parameters of the antenna-feeder devices, including the usage of the flight means, which provides accurate full-scale processing of the designing results.
The list of the antenna-feeder devices, wideband antenna amplifiers and antenna switches developed in JSC “ONIIP” is presented in the following areas:
1. Antenna-feeder systems, wideband antenna amplifiers and antenna switches of the receiving decameter radio centers including:
- linear arrays of the range from 3 to 30 MHz placed on limited areas (roofs of the buildings) and meant for providing communication at the routs with the length 1500-2500 km;
- cophased arrays of the range from 3 to 30 MHz placed on limited areas and installed on separately standing masts with the height up to 60 m, are meant for providing communication at the routs with the length 2000-6000 km;
- the stands of the wideband antenna amplifiers (with the gain coefficient 13, 15 dB) with high sensitivity and with a wide dynamic range (98-100 dB/µV) meant for signal loss compensation in high-frequency distributive paths;
- the stands of the distributive path including the set of the passive demultiplier with the dividing coefficients 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, which allow performing signal dividing for a preset number of times;
- automated antenna switches of different capacity (5x4, Baikal-AK, 12x12, 24x36, 12x16,32x16) either with electro-mechanical (relay), or with electronic (pin-diodes) switching components providing connecting up to 4 (12,16) radio receivers to one antenna (or one communication direction);
2. Antenna-feeder systems providing duplex radio station operation mode at transmitter power to 1 kW. A distinctive feature of these systems is the possibility of being placed on the limited area (minimum 10x10 m). Providing electromagnetic compatibility on such a limited area is a know-how of JSC “ONIIP”.
3. Transceiving antenna-feeder systems for operating with different-power transmitters, which include:
- vertical pin antenna ASh-11 for transmitter power to 1 kW;
- horizontal dipole antenna UAM (antenna-mast device) with the length 21 m at transmitter power to 1 kW.
4. Active receiving antennas, which include:
- pin wideband omnidirectional vertically-polarized antenna MPA-1 (from 0,4 to 30 MHz);
- frame vertically-polarized antenna 15E1308 (1,5-30,0 MHz) having eight-like patterns in the horizontal plane;
- antenna devices for UHF range including small-size helical antenna for wearable radio stations.
